In a great location down the quiet end of Gold Coast Drive. Beautiful views and lovely to listen to the sound of waves. Quite basic furnishings, only 2 bedroom. Would be helpful to have better lighting, especially in main bathroom and some lighting outside at front. Would also be helpful to have a new remote to TV.

We had a wonderful weekend at Carrickalinga the property has gorgeous views, is cozy and is a short walk to the beach. We loved it.

We did have many issues with lights. The light switch at the front door is not safe and we addressed this last stay and it wasn’t fixed. We had no outdoor lighting, no downstairs bathroom lighting, no walkway lighting upstairs and only a lamp in the kids bedroom. We also noticed a sharp nail on the walkway upstairs near the bedroom and mouse poo on the kitchen bench on arrival. We absolutely love staying here and did notice the extra effort that has been put in upgrading small details.

Great location! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

We loved it being dog friendly and had an amazing relaxing family stay in the middle of winter, making precious memories we will truly cherish. Our 5yo loved the upstairs area she called the treehouse. We will definitely book again in the future.

Everything was perfect

We absolutely love staying in this house. Two level quirky beach house design in an amazing location, offering spectacular views along the entire coast right across to Kangaroo Island. Great stay for a couple or a family.

Ideal location but property outdated, very dark and very creaky. On booking we were travelling with 3 adults but at last minute one pulled out. I'm glad as the back room was eerie! The lights need updating as even when all of them are on, it is a very dark house and the lighting is poor. "The power points also need attention as I think some are dangerous.

This property was in the perfect location to enjoy the ocean views and take the family to the beach. However, we felt that the property needed some attention i.e. windows cleaned, cobwebs removed and general maintenance.

Absolutely stunning location - right at beachfront. Such a cool, unique place. Perfectly positioned for hikes at deep creek, super close to amenities in normanville and Forktree brewery. Would highly recommend. Was a bit warm in the upper room but other than that it was wonderful!

Great location but that’s where it ends. Generally unclean, even mouse droppings ! VERY disappointed. I don’t mind what the property is, old or new, but it must be clean, and I know that I’m not the only one to say this. Also, we both came away with extremely sore backs after sitting on the seating provided in the living area.
