This property doesn’t disappoint for price or location but could use some updating particularly in bed comfort and kitchen implements. The only disappointment this time was that the heating unit failed and we were left without heating for over a week before a new one was installed. Which is a fast turnaround but no discount was offered for failing to provide this advertised feature. I would have appreciated some monetary acknowledgement of our discomfort and inconvenience dealing with trades.

This property seriously need to upgrade the furniture , the bedding is old and sags in the middle, we both have sore backs after sleeping , not clean overall walls and windows dusty and lots of dust on the frames . i would not stay here again based on minimalistic comfort ie seating and bedding as well as 1/2 roll toilet paper for three days for a family is not very welcoming to a place the view is the best thing about this place .

Elders Real Estate and Holiday accommodation, was brilliant all round. As a matter of fact, we extended an extra two nights. Highly recommended and absolutely enjoyed our stay. Cannot wait to return. Kindest Regards

A great location. Pet friendly was pets outside only!! Disappointed. A few other little things.... No Netflix. 1/2 toilet roll only, we just when and brought more but. The fridge white paint around the handles was sticky and felt dirty.

beautiful house and location. well equipped. so appreciative pet friendly. might need a spring clean of curtains, fans. walls and doors. laundry and toilet doors mouldy. would love to holiday there again.

Location was perfect, house clean. Needs a nozzle on front hose so you can clean veranda plus a new shower head. Beds comfortable.

We love coming to Burrum Heads each year but would like to see some better maintenance and updating of this property. It's cosy and has most of what we need but coffee machine still doesn't work from last year, gas bottle at bbq was empty when we went to cook, outdoor lounge is ancient, mattresses are hard. A little bit of updating would provide more comfort to your guests. We still booked again for next year though!

The property was fine we booked basically two hours before we left and just needed a weekend away. The property was very basic very hard to find in the dark so an illuminated number would have helped. There were a lot of notices in the property which was a little off putting.
Once we stated cooking we realised that everything was either dirty or so old you wouldn't use it! It wouldn't cost a lot of money to replace some of this stuff! Just needs an upgrade!

We enjoyed our stay at "OnThe Bank" The house was very clean and had everything you needed. A great location if you don't have dogs. We took our 2 fur babies, the front of the house faces the river, there is a fence (see thru) at front of property once you go thru the fence gate you are on Council ground. Our doggies barked at most people walking past, especially one's with doggie as they thought the people were tresspassing on our property, and they were being protected of us, we found this to be quite stressful and definatley would not bring them again. Most people were great, others not so great.3

The property was in a great location and we enjoyed the close access to the waterfront boardwalk. The house was in a nice quiet area with shops close by. The management were very helpful and overall we enjoyed staying in Burrum Heads. The property itself could do with some updating and new furnishings as it is looking quite dated.

Had a great holiday here. Property description accurate. Great location, clean and tidy. Elders Burrum Heads are always professional and welcoming, quick to act as required. Loved the beach, boat ramp, walking and 4wd tracks. The pub and bowls club were a welcome break from cooking, and much needed considering the minimal opening times of the fish and chip shop.
Would definitely recommend Burrum Heads and Elders for a holiday, and would be more likely to recommend this house to others if the beds in bedroom 2 and 3 had the mattresses upgraded to better quality, and perhaps a second air conditioner installed in the house (main bedroom)? Comfort is everything on holidays.

We had a lovely week at this well equipped property with our kids and dog. Everyone was comfortable and happy, and we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful location on the bank of the river.

Fabulous position & great dog friendly fenced house.Big front verandah to spend lazy afternoons watching the fab sunsets.Would highly recommend.

We stayed here for 1 week in the school holidays.It was very peaceful and relaxing.It has everything you need and only a short drive to hervey bay if you feel like shopping.Very clean and tidy property.Would definitely stay here again

Bought 2 days prior and certainly lived up to our expectations

It was so peaceful and quiet. Such a lovely town with welcoming people. On the bank was a great holiday home.

We've stayed in a similar spot previously but this little house has a magic verandah, perfect for watching the world go by. Everything is an easy walk, the water, the fishing, swimming, sand is all right there. If you need a break from reality, we recommend a stay at On the Bank

Our family stayed at On The Bank holiday house at Burrum Heads it had great views was close to the water and was with in walking distance to everything.
