Great house, kitchen well appointed. Suggest better lighting in kitchen and living areas also a clothes dryer would be great for those rainy days (we bring a limited amount of clothing).

A group of 4 couples stayed over the recent Oct long weekend for our first visit to Burrum Heads on a fishing holiday. ‘Sand n Sea’ is truly an amazing house with everything we ever needed for the group - the photos online simply do not do it justice. Beautifully and clean, well maintained, well layed out n super relaxing just 30m to the water. The outdoor entertainment area was awesome for afternoon drinks, playing pool, and BBQ’s. We were all super impressed and will be definitely be back!!

We have just got home from the best 10 days staying at Sand n Sea! We came up here for my husbands 40th and we couldn’t be more happier! The location and home are absolutely beautiful! We are usually campers at Burrum and decided to do a holiday house for something different, so glad we did! The house is so well stocked with all the essentials (we bought half a house with us not knowing what we needed 😊) We have booked this home again for next year and we can’t wait! Thank you!!

Me and my friend have been coming to burrum heads for a few years now and have stayed at a few houses this has been the best so far good water views all the necessitys even a pool table great holiday

Great location ! Spacious, clean and very comfortable . The outdoor area was a real bonus . We had perfect weather and tides for great fishing on the beach in front . We will definitely be back ! Thank you Elders for helping us sort the return of some left clothing .

general upkeep and maintenence was not as expected.5 tvs only 1 working properly, power switches next to bed are fire hazard. Dishwasher was useless.Aircon great, has more pros then cons to be fair.We enjoyed the house and would consider staying again.

What a lovely house located in a great spot. The house was very spacious for a family of 8 adults with a fabulous verandah area and the pool table which was a terrific hit with the group.

This is an amazing home that accommodates up to 8 family members. It allows for direct beach views and access and provides large indoor and outdoor areas in which to relax and socialise. The wifi was an appreciated addition to the home. Multiple tv access within the home was also an added bonus. Thank you for having us in your paradise!

We booked the property purely for its size and location. We had a few family members coming and needed room. The house is set up well for groups with two living areas and a huge outdoor area with a pool table. It was great . Just a short walk to the shops, plenty of parking for cars and boats and the water was on your doorstep.

The only negative was the hot water kept running out and there was no door on the ensuite.

A lot of things about the house which were below par; it needs some attention esp for that rental cost, e.g. interior and deck painted a light colour, new vacuum stick as it won't hold the charge long enough to vacuum a room; fridge needs replacing as it is too noisy; curtains old and too dark; door or curtain needed to ensuite in front bedroom as curtains don't close completely and you can be seen getting out of the shower from the beach. Good things are its location and the pool table.

upon arrival the house was clean and inviting.the whole property was holiday friendly especially for the whole family ranging from 2yr-59yr accommodating the 7 of us very comfortably. we found the house was outfitted with everything we needed or wanted to use. The property had a lovely welcoming feel to it. We would recommend this property to friends for a "getaway from it all" holiday break

This is the third or fourth time we have stayed at the property. The last time was approximately 2 years ago and the fridge was leaking then. The sign on the fridge says they're waiting on a part for the fridge, I'm not sure this is entirely true nearly 2 years later! If you're providing a fridge with these facilities (ice n water) then it
should be in good order. The back glass door is not locking & the screen is difficult to lock. You should be able to lock the doors.
The curtains need replacing in most rooms as they're worn and there is no privacy in the master bedroom, where they don't close in the bay window. When you're paying over $300 per night, these things should be fixed. I

We had a very relaxing quiet family beach holiday The location of this house is amazing, straight out the gate to the beach
Our dog loved the fenced yard area too and lots of off leash beach time
The house has everything you need and a wonderful outdoor area facing the ocean

Peaceful & spacious. We loved the beach in all its variations. We enjoyed lots of walks & found the locals to be very friendly.
We had no internet access from mid stay, which meant no Netflix which was a tad disappointing.
We would love to stay here again.
We enjoyed a day out at Hervey Bay and a meal at the Bowls Club.

Great family holiday house, lots to entertain the kids with beach a short walk from the back door. Large pool table to entertain young and old! Highly recommend this holiday house.

This house is the perfect get away, right on the water, quiet and private. The home was clean and very spacious. Children & Pet Friendly. I would definitely go back again for another holiday there.
Downside - TV system needs updating and small things like broken broom handles and chairs need to be replaced, but other than these couple of small things we loved this place, the area & the tranquility. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Sand N Sea is the most amazing place we stayed for a holiday. Thank you to the owners for the welcome Wine and Chocolates it is a lovely touch. The home is family orientated with the pool table, extra TV, pay TV and Wi-Fi and the beach at the back door. The kitchen has everything you could ever want. We re booked already. See you next year.
