Short drive to Hervey Bay where we found everything we needed.

Enjoyed the stay at "Beach on Burrum" the home was very clean and has everything needed for to make it homely and comfortable.

We knew about this home before we booked as we have been staying at Burrum Heads for over 12 years in the same home that now has been sold.. We also knew Beach House on Burrum had been recently renovated. The layout is great but I needed to stay near our dogs as they are used to sleeping inside so I lived in the big back rumpus room. Obviously an addition,
flat roof, no insulation and so dreadfully hot. The ceiling fans just didn't cool it.. The floor tiles were warm by 10am. You noticed this when you stepped up into the rest of the house. That was also warm. As oldies we also noticed the step height into that rumpus room was not right. You had to hold on to wall and step carefully. I only showered once in the back bathroom as the shower kept dripping plus the vacuum cleaner didn't work and we reported both to Elders. The house had everything you needed and would be great for a young family in the cooler months. It was spotless. Back yard excellent for dogs although we spent more time out the front on the verandah with ours. Great location. Not sure if we would stay there again.

Hi there, Great stay for xmas at beach house on Burrum. Property has all you need for a family getaway, including pet friendly back yard with rear access for your boat etc. Would have loved air con, house has fans through out but is quite hot as you dont get any of the sea breeze, we spent most of the time across the road on the beach front to get the breeze. We live in the sunshine coast hinterland 40km from the ocean and it felt like we were at home not one street from the beach. Comfortable bedding and 3 fridges which was great. Good size BBQ out back but was quite dangerous to light. Would stay again but only in winter months when it wasnt so hot. Lost my wallet in town and had it returned by a local and found its way back to me by Sue at the local Foodworks supermarket. Sue went out of her way to get my wallet back to me, so thank you to such an awesome local business!!

We had a wonderful stay in Burram Heads! Beautiful location and friendly locals! Would definitely recommend a holiday here! Lovely house close to the shops and short walk to the beach and parks! Had a great time will be coming back!

House was very clean, great location, quick walk to the beach. House is stocked well, everything you for all occasions. Would definitely stay in this house again!

We loved our fortnight at The Beachouse on Burrum. The neighbourhood was so welcoming. The old dog fit in well. The only neg I think was that the kitchen was totally disorganised. Would stay there in the blink of an eye again. Thanks owners.

Really close to the beach and an easy walk to the shops. Spacious rooms, actually sleeps 8- 4 singles. So many extras that really made it feel like home away from home. Freshly painted. Would highly recommend it.

Our first time in this property but lots of holidays in Burrum Heads. The home was clean and close to beach and we would stay again.

I loved the peace and quiet, the beach is very close.Kangaroos across the back fence with the bush just there. Loved the coastal heathlands and wildflowers. I plan to return.

The property was very clean,close to beach and only a 5 min walk to the shops. Would stay again.

Great place to stay, very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you can think of. It backs onto the bush and there are a lot of wildlife out there. We even fed kookaburras! Only downside is there is no bath to bath babies in, we had to use the laundry sink which would be fine in summer but it was a bit cold during winter.

Had everything you could need. Great for the extended family, plenty of room for everyone. Would definitely recommend and stay there again
