A lovely home - pleasant, airy, spacious. Pool was terrific, backyard great for the dogs, and we loved the verandas. Location is very good - close to the beach, park, playground & cafes.

Station Street is the peaceful epicentre of Stanwell Park and this house sits in the ideal location. Turn right and walk the tree-lined path to the new kid's playground and then wander over the grass to the beach. Or take an effortless walk to the left where you will find a wine cellar, corner shop with fantastic takeaway and the exceptional 16 Feet Cafe. Pop into Coal Coast organics for fresh produce and gourmet finds.
A little over an hour from Sydney, Stanwell Park is one of those hidden gems that the locals would like to keep a secret. The beach is famous for being one of Australia's most photographed and once you hit its golden shores you will see why. The beach is also an off-leash area for dogs so the pooch doesn't have to wait at home. It is surrounded by lush parkland with BBQ areas, undercover seating, a kiosk and a new playground. It is the perfect spot for the whole family to picnic long into the day. The village itself is becoming a little gourmet hamlet with 16 Feet providing exceptional coffee and fresh seasonal dishes. Hargraves Cafe serves up favourites for lunch and delicious Gelato. Coal Coast Organics is a fantastic store stocking organic vegetables, dry goods and Coal Coast Sourdough.
Take your morning coffee to Bald Hill and watch the hang gliders or paragliders bound over the cliffs like large colourful birds taking flight. Venture further to the Sea Cliff Bridge and walk over for breathtaking views. Climb the Wodi Wodi Track to burn off the holiday calories and enjoy some great pub food and wine at the Scarborough Hotel to put them back on. We only had two nights but was great. Close to the beach, shops up the road. Lovely house and gardens. Everything you need for a comfy stay. Well done and thank you for providing quality accommodation.
Our family loved being here amongst the rambling garden, large clean pool, the diverse birdlife, and the beautifully renovated home. We enjoyed the home immensely a great kitchen/dining area, ample comfortable lounge area, three shower/toilet facilities tastefully renovated, comfortable beds, the romantic master bedroom decor paying homage to years gone by, we were sad to leave. We highly recommend this property as tastefully renovated, relaxing and comfortable, near the beach,walking tracks or sites to see, it was awesome to explore the area and come back to a wonderful home environment. Thank you for a great place to stay.
As soon as we walked up the drive way, we were enchanted with the loveliness of the surrounding gardens, the wrap around verandah, and the inclusions such as the gnomes and pathway lamp, guiding our way to the welcoming front door. Inside was even better! The owners have made this place a home - our friends who popped in for an overnight stay were equally impressed. This truly is a gorgeous place to relax, with space for everybody, including separate living areas, a big back yard and an enormous pool! The beach is a 3 minute away, as well as a park for those with small children (and I mean a really good park!). Coffee shops and a great breakfast spot a short walk up the road, ensures we'll be back for another visit.
