Had a lovely 2 night stay inn the art house. Great house, great beach the and finest views. Had a lovely family reunion and everyone enjoyed themselves. Would not hesitate to stay there again. I would have given 5 stars except that were only two rolls of toilet paper for five adults, and the dishwasher was not emptied. The place is a little ruin down but we still loved it.

This home is ideally located just a short stroll down to the beach. It is just a 10-minute walk from the village and yet is peacefully elevated allowing you the best views and giving you complete privacy. A little over an hour from Sydney, Stanwell Park is one of those hidden gems that the locals would like to keep a secret. The beach is famous for being one of Australia's most photographed and once you hit its golden shores you will see why.The beach is surrounded by lush parkland with BBQ areas, undercover seating, a kiosk and a new kid's playground - it is the perfect spot for the whole family to picnic long into the day. The beach is also an off-leash area for dogs so the pooch doesn't have to wait at home.Alternatively, take your morning coffee to Bald Hill and watch the hang gliders or paragliders bound over the cliffs like large colourful birds taking flight.Venture further to the Sea Cliff Bridge and walk over for breathtaking views. The Master Bedroom: Imagine going to sleep lulled by the sound of the waves and waking to the sun rising over the sea with your head still on the pillow. Opening onto the back deck, this room is light-filled and airy and features a sumptuous Queen Bed.
Bedroom 2: Features two single beds and is ideal for the kids or friends.
Bedroom 3: Privately tucked away, this room opens onto the back deck and has a comfortable Queen Bed.
The Studio offers a huge bedroom with sea views featuring a Queen Bed. It also has a private lounge room with TV and stereo.
The sitting room: has a comfortable fold-out double lounge and is elevated above the main lounge.
The bathroom has a separate shower and tub with a view of the palms. The laundry also has an extra toilet and shower.
The open plan living room has glass doors that seamlessly connect to the front deck and capture the view from the lounge, dining area and kitchen. The lounge room offers a relaxed place to gather and features a TV, DVD player and wood combustion heater for the chilly months.
You are spoilt for choice with dining; choose from the dining room, front deck or the breakfast bar.
A vintage stove that is no match for its modern counterparts you have the choice of 5 burners and 2 ovens, and it even has 2 warming drawers. The kitchen is fully equipped to handle a wide range of cooking from elaborate to modest, so plan to feast.
The open front deck is like a birds nest perch looking out to the sea and is big enough for the family to dine, read, play or just hang. Overlooking a large, lush lawn you can watch over the kids and the view at the same time with a drink in hand and your worries floating away on the breeze.
The back deck offers lots of space to sprawl out and a nice view of the garden. Fully enclosed, it is a safe space for kids and pets.

THINGS TO KNOW
The sails displayed in the pictures are put up from December - January when the sun is at its hottest. During spring and autumn, there can be strong winds in the area causing the sails to tear and also creating a bit of a racket when you are trying to sleep. The main house has one bathroom and the second bathroom is part of the laundry which is accessed from outside through the kitchen door. This is not pictured because it is a bit darker as it is under the house. The studio does not have a bathroom.
The driveway to this property is steep. There is room to turn your car around at the top but if your car has trouble with hills you might want to consider parking it on the street.

We couldn’t complain about the views. They are spectacular. But the place was very dirty mostly dust, spider webs everywhere and not to mention our baby kept getting long black hairs (dog) off the rug.
