The cottage was such surprise for us, it is 3 buildings away from Ruthven street and yet it so quiet and peaceful. The beautiful cool breeze that flows in from front door during the day and night and the older furnishings with the new, capture the surrounding atmosphere of the cottage's past and present making for a most relaxing stay.

If it happens to get a bit cool during your holiday, not a problem, just get the fire going. This property has a fireplace or slow combustion heater. Air conditioning will keep you cool while your dog will enjoy the fully fenced yard. All this and more will make your holiday perfect and your pet will enjoy it too!
Situated in the quiet Jacaranda lined streets of South Toowoomba, this cottage has the capacity to sleep 6 guests. The cottage includes a fully functional kitchen and laundry, wifi, foxtel, BBQ, 2 single beds and 2 Queen Beds with new mattresses. The cottage is both pet and family friendly. Walking distance to corner store, CBD and Base Hospital. It is in close proximity to Queen’s Park, Empire Theatre, Toowoomba City Golf Club, Gabbinbar Homestead and Preston Peak Winery.
We understand that its nice to be able to cook your own meals whilst away so we have provided a fully equipped kitchen including; cook books, electric mixer, baking equipment, new microwave, dishwasher, plus pantry staples to get you going.
There are two Queen Size beds, and two single beds. All beds have new mattresses and bedding and are super comfortable. We also have a fully assembled cot available for use if requested.
There is one main bathroom and a second toilet on the rear deck next to the laundry. The instant hot water system and great water pressure will ensure a fantastic shower.
There is a laundry with a new front loader washing machine, dryer, iron and board.
There is one TV with Foxtel and wifi to ensure the whole family is connected!
There is a reverse cycle air-conditioner in the lounge area with a gas heater. We have also included heaters in each room to ensure comfort on those chilly winter nights.
Outside the garden is landscaped, with a BBQ, patio area, table and chairs.
The cottage is fully fenced with access to the large double bay shed.
Further off street parking for up to 2 more cars is available in the driveway.
Park your car and walk. We are close to everything!
We have a cot and high chair at the cottage and can put you in touch with an experienced baby sitter if required. There are toys, games and books for all age children.
Please note there is a minimum 3 night stay for the property.
All of the house is available for you to use. There is ample on and off street parking and a large double lock up shed available for use.

What a warm welcome. Came to Toowoomba for our family Christmas lunch, gathered them from all over to stay at this cottage. Gorgeous cottage with so many personal touches. The Christmas tree was up, magnificent fireplace mantel decorations and so many other Christmas touches. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds and the best stocked kitchen and pantry for lunch for many people. Such a pleasure staying in a well located and appointed home. Perfect for us 6 adults and our Toowoomba family for a get together lunch. Highly recommended for a beautiful stay. Oh and the air conditioning was a blessing late afternoon. We will be back
We loved our recent stay at the cottage. The house was very tidy and well stocked, it even had a fresh loaf of bread and milk! The property manager was lovely and very accommodating. We would definitely stay again!
The owner thought of absolutely everything you would ever want for your stay and more, providing luxury items & extras you don’t usually find. A nice gesture indeed. We found the cottage very welcoming, homely and didn’t want to leave! First class communication with the Property Manager from time of booking to end of stay. We were very happy finding this place on our recent visit to Toowoomba for a wedding. The cottage was in a perfect location, clean and tidy, excellent amenities and the best part we could take our dogs. The yard was very suitable for them and they were able to escape the heat under the pergola in the outdoor area. We will definately rebook.
