This property is location is fantastic being so close to the beach with great views of the area.
The large front deck has great ocean and hills views and has a covered roof and 4 burner BBQ and a 8 seat outdoor table for easy alfresco entertaining, there is also a new large rear deck with table and chairs etc and for entertaining on those hot summer afternoons while watching the kids and your pets having fun in thefully fencedyear yard.
For winter there is a wood fire located upstairs, for summer there are fans located in all living areas and all bedrooms and a new split system air conditioner located in the upstairs living area and of course the beautiful sea breezes that flow through the house, so when all the windows are opened up you will rarely need to use the air conditioner.
Situated at the Gold Coast Drive end of Riverview Drive the property is so close to the beach and plenty of off street parking for cars and boats etc.

Upstairs Front deck has a maximum capacity of 8 persons.
Maximum amount of guests allowed at the property at any time must not exceed 8 and up to 2 dogs
Dogs must never be left inside the premises when leaving the property at any time.
Please clean up after your pets as additional fees are payable if you do not, external staircase to access upper and lower levels.
No WiFi at the premises as we want our guests to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, however there is good mobile phone coverage.

Its a lovely well kept place Its a lovely well kept place full of everything you would need. Close to the beach and plenty of space to relax. Highly recommend.
Good size, views not as good as suggested Pro’s - secure yard for dog, well supplied kitchen equipment, split air con works well, clean, no dog smell or hair, nice deck and big yard, beds comfy Con’s - broken flue on pot-belly so wood burns out very fast, doggy door fly screen only downstairs, very little view of ocean, partial view between houses of the creek outlet, real estate agents instructions a bit heavy handed (rearrange curtains, clean out fireplace etc before leaving)

Dear GH, we would like to thank you very much for your feedback and for staying at Carricklinga Seahaven! In response to your concerns - to the best of our knowledge the flu on the combustion heater is not broken, however, some of the fire bricks do need replacing. Unfortunately this work was postponed due to your reservation, but the landlords will action this work in the next few weeks. The owners have not installed a doggy door on the upstairs front/side entrance door as there is no fencing at the front of the property and it becomes dangerous for wandering pets, there is a fully fenced rear yard. The views from the property are as described online, the property is not located on the actual beach front however there are lovely partly restricted views of the ocean, the creek the sand hills and the foot hills from the property - properties on the beach front do come at a much higher price. We do have a high occupancy rate at Carrickalinga Seahaven, and to ensure the property is always ready for the next guests, and to maintain a high standard of accommodation and cleanliness, cleaning out the fire place after use is also a small guest requirement if it has been used. We hope to see you again return in the future.

Will's place is in a beautiful location overlooking the sea and is a 3 minute walk from a lovely beach. The house is stylish and exactly as described in the information and in the pictures. The kitchen is very well equipped for a group of 8. There are 2 very big living spaces. As stated the two floors are connected by an outside staircase which was not a problem for us. Guests should be aware that the house is managed by a commercial company so contact and key collection is through an agent. As is now stated on the Airbnb site bed linen is not included in the price. All 6 of us who shared the house would thoroughly recommend it to a family or a group of adults.
We spent a great week at Seahaven with our four children. Fantastic view from balcony over the creek and sand dunes down to the beach. Could hardly be more idyllic; the perfect spot for evening dinner and drinks watching the sun disappear. House was very clean, comfortable and well-presented. The aircon was very effective, and the house had everything we needed. It worked well for us (and them !) having the two older kids in the downstairs area. Very short walk to the beach. We will definitely be back.
A lovely little unit in Carrickalinga The internal layout is a little odd: the upper and lower stories are connected only by an *external* flight of stairs, so going to the other section requires an umbrella if the weather is wet. But the upper level contains the kitchen facilities and most of the bedrooms, so we found ourselves spending most of our time there. And if you're travelling with kids, you may *prefer* a bit of isolation! The upper storey has a balcony with a gorgeous view, and a powerful barbecue. (Pro-tip: fill the tank before you use it. We thought we had enough, but it burned through the tank before we'd finished the last few kebabs.) The kitchen has an eclectic collection of pots and pans, and a very helpful array of basic ingredients. All in all, this was an excellent weekend getaway, and we'll be looking at it again on our next trip down the Fleurieu Peninsula!

The property is set up as 2 bedrooms upstairs and the living area and large undercover deck and kitchen area and bathroom and laundry with magnificent sea and views of the sand hills where we find guests spend the majority of the time as you say you did and downstairs has the additional 2 bedrooms and another living area and another bathroom and a large rear deck with table and chairs. The external staircase we find is great as it allows completely separate quarters if guests require some isolation as you say and fortunately there is not a lot of rainfall particularly in the summer months, so the property suits a wide range of guest requirements. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to welcoming you back again in the future!
