We had a great time and enjoyed the lifestyle that the property provides. Loved the beautiful green grass and amazing views! Could improve on cleaning prior to arrival. Floors very dirty and lots of dead bugs all over. Looked like it had been a while since last cleaned? BBQ was filthy with mice dropping everywhere and had to be scrubbed with hot soapy water prior to use. The mattress protectors and quilt covers in need of a wash also. Great location but for the price expect it to be cleaner

Lovely home. We had a cosy and quiet stay, and loved the proximity to the beach.

We had a fabulous stay, charming cottage perfect for our family getaway. We loved the open fire, beautiful views and wildlife. Plenty of radiators to keep us cosy. Property was lovely and clean and the beds were really comfortable. A beautiful, peaceful stay.

If you’re after a house with all the mod cons, good internet , Netflix, coffee machine, dishwasher etc then this house isn’t for you. If on the other hand you want peace and quiet, boards games, rustic charm, pizza oven and fire under the stars, space to play cricket and run around then book a stay in this house. Comfy beds , nice veranda and shade, very dog friendly, lovely views down the valley and kangaroo visitors. A lovely weekend in the country.

Lovely house in very quiet and beautiful location

This is our second visit and we love it for what it is which is the country style living and the beautiful surrounds. Very relaxing family holiday. A couple of negative tough. Even though we were warned by your email arriving in the dark to find there is no power is a little off putting, trying to find the electricity box in the dark. There was a bunch of meat in the freezer that was almost thawed out as a result of the power being turned off. Also the oven has no element and does not work.

This was everything we expected and beyond. Beautiful mornings and evenings gazing at the kangaroos and ducks from the lounge window. Lots of space to wander and relax. Was just the two of us, but would be a great spot for a family, or a small group of friends. The bed was really comfortable and the water nice and hot which was lovely when I had a bath. Clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Also had a beautiful breakfast not far away at Little Sista in Normanville

No hot water for 24hours no offer of any rebate House in need of maintenance Ants nest and ants inside everywhere Big black spiders everywhere including my son's bedroom crawling on bed- need pest control Red belly black snake not far from back door so not entirely safe for dogs. Kitchen amenities fair no fan when cooking smoke alarm goes off, couldn't open kitchen window.

We love Fleurieu Peninsula and in general rural retreats.This property ticks all the boxes for us. With a great kitchen and outdoor space to entertain and tranquility in its surroundings, I HIGHLY recommend this place to families in particular. It is very close to both Yankalilla and Normanville for amenities. Victor Harbour is only about 30mins drive away.
