This property can accommodate up to 13 people with 4 rooms and 10 beds at your disposal. Why not enjoy a BBQ on the deck and the outsanding view. If it happens to get a bit cool during your holiday, not a problem, just get the fire going. This property has a fireplace or slow combustion heater. All this and more will make your holiday perfect and your pet will enjoy it too!

This is a modern country homestead set on 22 acres amidst sheep and cattle grazing country near the heritage-listed town of Braidwood in the Southern Tablelands of NSW.

It is a sustainable holiday home built in 2016 entirely off the grid and without compromise to quality, luxury and aesthetics.

There is a spring-fed dam on the property and a grove of bushland attracting kangaroos, wombats, an abundance of native birds as well as the occasional fox, deer and other wildlife.

The property has been designed to allow up to 3 families to experience a country escape together, with a large communal living space, 3 king bedrooms and a fantastic bunk room with 2 bunk beds and 2 trundle sleeping up to 6 people (note the trundles are shorter and only suitable for children up to 12 yrs).

The polished concrete floor provides a stunning base for the expansive open plan living area.

The kitchen cast iron wood-fired boiler and cooker is supplemented by a gas oven and cooktop for use in warmer months.

The insulating qualities of the construction and glazing mean that the home stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer, making it the ideal family holiday destination at any time of the year.

Rest assured that our guest information folder at the property will tell you all the ins and outs regarding the solar power, tank water and hydronic and underfloor heating.

There is a backup generator that automatically kicks in if required.

The pure local rainwater is filtered to ensure top quality drinking water at all times and your year-round comfort is assured with underfloor and central hydronic heating powered by a traditional Esse wood-fired boiler and cooker.

There is also a slow combustion fire, ceiling fans, extraction fans, mod-cons such as dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and condenser clothes dryer all powered sustainably.

“We loved our winter getaway in a wonderful, modern house. The fire place was wonderfully warm. We loved the Aussie bush getaway. It was serene.”

    Susana , July 2020

We are a family of 5 adults and 2 children. Everyone was catered for with magazines, books, toys, etc. The open plan living and views were just amazing!

An amazing property without fault. Large enough to comfortably house everyone but intimate enough to bury us all together. Immaculate home, stunning surrounds. Simply amazing!

Torn - was going to write a bad review to keep this place a secret :). But it is an amazing property, beautifully executed and great amenities. Perfect for 2 families but could take three as well.

    Justin Ooi , August 2020

Fabulous house, very comfortable and stunning views. Loved seeing kangaroos hop along the field in the morning and exploring the countryside. The puppies and kids had a blast as well as the adults. Would 100% come and stay again. Divine home and a peaceful location.

    Gillian Sutton , August 2020

Rolling hills and tumbling skies - a welcome perspective for us all and had us researching the indigenous peoples and history of the Durran Durra region. We discovered that the name has been recorded as meaning 'messenger'. Mt Gillamatong gave us orientation to our beloved Braidwood.

    Melanie Angel , August 2020

This is one amazing house with lots of extra touches.

    Kerrie, October 2020

The property was more than we expected, it is situated in a peaceful location with perfect views. The house is tastefully decorated and the grandchildren loved their bedroom and the games and toys provided. We are looking forward to returning in the future.
