Lovely little getaway well set up with amenities and comforts. Our small 14 year old Maltese cross loved exploring the good sized front yard and felt right at home indoors. The yard is very secure. We took him to an art gallery in East Bowral near Retford Park and the lovely receptionist enjoyed having him help protect the front counter while we wandered through the exhibits. Afterwards we had a tasty lunch at the same place and our furry friend was most welcome. A number of spots around didn’t mind at all for us to bring him in on a lead. Lots of parks and walking paths. Highly recommended!

This could be a lovely property, however it was very dirty and dusty. It needs a complete clean and de-cluttering. Dispose of all the dust collecting dried flower arrangements. We were very disappointed with the cleanliness and the response from Holiday Rental Properties. There were several maintenance issues and it should be noted that the property is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Lovely, cosy cottage set in a picturesque garden. Very quiet street but close to all amenities. We especially loved the conservatory off the bedroom and the vintage style dcor, which suited the period of the house perfectly. Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay and would return.Fiona

Enjoyed the stay in Hollyoak Cottag. It is cosy with easy access to town.  Great to be able to bring to dog aswell. 

Large towels were good, good location, well equipped with crockery and utensils, comfortable beds.

The house is well appointed with everything you need and nothing you don't. The garden is beautiful and the location perfect to use as a base for the rest of the Southern Highlands. Our dogs' access to the outside was easily accomplished and even on a windy stormy night, it was an easy thing to get them to go out via our bedroom door and, in the dark, to feel secure that they could not go any further than the back and sides of the house. A very comfortable house in which to share a warm winter weekend with friends.Janet

Hollyoak is a lovely stay enjoyed by ourselves and mother in law. Good location and was especially pleased to enjoy the local wines of the area.

It was once again a pleasure to stay at Hollyoak. We enjoyed sampling the locl wine Holiday Rental Specialists so kindly provided and we will explore the wineries on our next visit. As our thanks for your hospitality and providing us with your lovely premises I have made some hand crocheted towels for use at Hollyoak. Thanks again :)

 I had a wonderful stay at Hollyoak Cottage last week.  The cottage was exactly as I had wanted, exactly as the description and photos showed. An original old cottage, repainted, repaired and set up with modern conveniences, but retaining the original feel of polished floors and rugs, original windows, clawfoot bathtub and modern furniture that looks appropriate for the era. And I loved all the doileys and ducks. The sheets and towels were perfectly white and new, the property was clean, the kitchen had all the crockery appliances and utensils you’d need, and the owner kindly left milk in the fridge. The gardens were well kept, pretty and looked appropriate for the house and the area is quiet. The addition of the sunroom is beautiful especially in the morning as the sun starts to come in, and the blinds mean you could block the light out if you choose. I had a wonderful stay and absolutely loved the cottage. It was beautiful, quiet, and comfortable and had a home away from home feeling. Please pass on my thanks to the owner for keeping this property as it is with a perfect blend of the feel of the original but with modern conveniences. The booking process went smoothly, and the rental staff were very helpful when I telephoned. I would definitely book again in the future.Ann
